Ever Wonder What Donald Trump Doesn’t Tell You About His Kids?

Image
In 1990, Donald Trump said in an interview with  Playboy  that “statistically… children of successful people are generally very, very troubled…” So, does that mean his own children ended up in the same fashion? Although they’ve kept their composure in the spotlight, there’s more going on ‘behind the scenes’ than you’d think. Obviously, no family is perfect. But with five kids, two divorces, and billions of dollars in expandable income, Donald Trump may keeping a few details secret about his precious children…

WWE Payback: 'House of Horrors' match insults everyone's intelligence

Image
Sunday night's "House of Horrors" match between Bray Wyatt and Randy Orton took what was shaping up to be a decent Payback show and flushed it right down the toilet. It's not hyperbole to say the "match" killed the rest of the show and set new standards for stupidity in a sport that regularly insults the audience's intelligence. Back story: At WrestleMania 33, Randy Orton won the WWE World title from Bray Wyatt, in a match where Bray "played mind games" by having bugs and worms projected onto the ring to distract Orton. It didn't work; Orton won the title anyway in a terrible match.  Bray was then drafted to "Raw" in the "Superstar Shake-Up" (which didn't really shake up much) and, for reasons never adequately explained, the two men were signed to a non-title rematch for Payback in a "House of Horrors" match, even though Orton is a "SmackDown" wrestler. The rules/setup for the match wer

May Day: Anti-Trump Illegal Aliens Vow ‘Biggest Workers Strike in over a Decade’

Image
On Monday, International Workers Day, protesters will fill the National Mall and the streets of cities elsewhere to protest what they call the federal government’s “deportation machinery” and to demand civil rights reserved for citizens be bestowed upon illegal immigrants. The May Day protest by illegal aliens goes back to 2006 when “1.5 million people took to the streets across the country to demand immigration reform,” left-wing magazine  The Nation  reported on Friday. Now, protesters aren’t asking for a pathway to citizenship. “Today, no one, not even immigrants rights advocates, is calling for immigration reform anymore,”  Nation  contributor Julianne Hing   wrote  . “Immigrants and their allies are now defending civil rights like due process and values like democracy and inclusiveness. “The policy agenda is no longer about winning citizenship or even legal status for the nation’s 11 million undocumented immigrants,” the article said. “It’s about defending families f

Baahubali 2 is roaring at the box office.

Baahubali 2  is roaring at the box office . No surprises here.  Baahubali 2  has showered another crore at the box office on it's second day, reported  Box Office India . The film, in total, has earned over Rs 220 crores, as per  Box Office India , which is more than what  Aamir Khan's   Dangal made in over a week. Earlier, opening across as many as 8,000 screens worldwide,  Baahubali: The Conclusion already surpassed the record-breaking box office figures of the blockbuster  Dangal , in terms of opening day collections, reported trade analyst Taran Adarsh.  Dangal  created history, scoring over Rs 100 crore in three days and  Baahubali: The Conclusion redefined history, with a record-smashing, beyond-impressive box office collection of Rs 121 crore on its opening day, tweeted Mr Adarsh.  Baahubali: The Conclusion released in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam on April 28 with the Hindi version raking in more than Rs 80 crore, which is a shade under wh

Anthony Joshua Beats Wladimir Klitschko In A HeavyWeight Bout For The Ages.

Image
LONDON —  For 12 minutes, the worst fears of the boxing community were being realized. After years of heavyweight matches that failed to captivate, 90,000 people who had come to Wembley Stadium to see fireworks in the division’s most anticipated bout in 15 years were instead being treated to a jabbing contest. And then the bell for the fifth round was struck. The fight ended with the official coronation of a brilliant young star, Anthony Joshua of Britain — who retained his IBF heavyweight championship and won the vacant WBA championship with a dramatic 11th-round technical knockout. But to get to that crowning moment, the heralded phenom was pushed to the limit by a future Hall of Famer, Wladimir Klitschko — who, in defeat, proved mightier than he ever had in victory. The first third of the bout was entirely forgettable — an extended feeling-out period. Joshua (19-0, 19 knockouts) made efforts to get inside. But Klitschko kept his opponent at bay with his lengthy jab, as

Vettel sets pace in third practice for Russian Grand Prix

SOCHI, Russia (AP) —  Sebastian Vettel  was fastest in the third and final practice for the Russian Grand Prix as Ferrari maintained its advantage over Mercedes on Saturday. The Formula One leader's time was the fastest of the weekend so far, underlining Vettel's status as the man to beat in qualifying later Saturday. His Ferrari teammate  Kimi Raikkonen  was second, 0.337 seconds back, followed by the Mercedes cars of Valtteri Bottas in third and  Lewis Hamilton  in fourth. Ferrari has topped all three practices on a Sochi track which had been widely expected to favor Mercedes. Technical problems continued to dog Red Bull. Daniel Ricciardo briefly stopped on the track, a day after his teammate  Max Verstappen 's car broke down. Renault rushed to change  Jolyon Palmer 's engine ahead of qualifying after car problems prevented him from setting a time

'Dear White People': The Story Behind Netflix's Controversial, Must-See Comedy

Image
"Man, look at it out there,"Justin Simien says, gesturing to the window of the hotel suite he's currently holding court in. It's early February, and the city has just been hit by a blizzard that feels damn near Biblical; the streets below us, as well as the whole of Madison Square Park, are covered by an endless blanket of eye-blinding white. "It's like New York has been covered in Trump voters!" The two stars of Simien's Netflix show  Dear White People  who are sitting to his left, Logan Browning and Brandon P. Bell, start belly-laughing along with him. A second ago, they'd all been earnestly debating the pros and cons of attending a standard, integrated state university versus an HBCU (Historically Black College and University); one weather-related wisecrack from the writer-director later, the three of them are riffing on the troll-term "snowflakes" and joking about renaming the show  Dear Woke People.  It's the sort of ye

Late offensive spark lifts White Sox past Tigers, Into First Place......

T odd Frazier  and  Avisail Garcia 's game of follow the leader played out quite nicely for the  White Sox  on Friday night at Comerica Park. First it was back-to-back home runs for Frazier and Garcia in the second inning off  Tigers  left-hander Matthew Boyd. Then it was back-to-back ground balls hit to Tigers third baseman Nicholas Castellanos, who made errors on both to load the bases in the eighth. The latter sequence helped set up  Geovany Soto 's two-run single that gave the Sox the lead for good in a 7-3 victory over the Tigers in the opener of a 10-game road trip.  Tim Anderson  provided insurance with a two-run homer in the ninth in the Sox's fifth straight victory. The Sox (12-9) moved to the top of the  American League Central  with the Indians (12-10), Tigers (11-11) and  Twins  (11-11) just behind. But Sox manager  Rick Renteria  said it would be "imprudent" to think about the standings less than a month into the season. "This is a se

Soto’s 2-run single leads White Sox past Tigers, 7-3

DETROIT (AP) -  Mike Pelfrey  put his emotions aside and helped his new team, the  Chicago White Sox , beat his old team, the  Detroit Tigers . Pelfrey , who was released by the  Tigers  near the end of spring training, started Friday’s game at Detroit and left after 4 2/3 innings with the game tied. Geovany Soto then had a two-run single in the eighth, helping the  White Sox  beat the  Tigers  7-3 at Comerica Park. “There’s no bitterness,”  Pelfrey  said of facing Detroit. “Those guys were good to me. Obviously, spring training didn’t end the way I wanted, but that’s on me. I don’t think I lived up to my end of the bargain.” Pelfrey , who gave up two first-inning runs, settled down after the rough start. He allowed three earned runs on six hits, walked four and struck out two. “I try to turn the page, and I was here to help the  White Sox  tonight,” he said. “I try not to make too much eye contact with them because it’s hard with guys you played with and cared about.
