onaldo has accepted the need to rest during the season as the prolific Portuguese prepares to sit out a fourth consecutive league away game in missing Saturday’s trip to Granada.
“Villarreal are a team that present many difficulties in defence as they position themselves so well”.

With three matches left on the schedule, Villarreal haven’t given up hope on claiming a UEFA Champions League qualification berth, but their window of opportunity is very slim indeed.

Fresh from their 3-0 Champions League semifinal first leg victory over Atletico, the Merengues will be confident of keeping pace with Barcelona at the top of the table.
One of the players expected to skip the game against Granada is Cristiano Ronaldo, who has been rested in several matches recently and has thrived in the final stretch of the season.
Zidane has rotated the squad regularly and the players replacing the main starters have kept the team playing well and winning.
“Raphael Varane has felt something, it is nothing big, but we don’t want to risk anything with a player who has got a slight niggle”.
Barcelona, trying to win its second consecutive Spanish league title, may count on the return of midfielder Andres Iniesta, who missed the game at Espanyol last weekend because of a right leg muscle injury.
